Shooting ahead: The Bloomsbury WaterFront by NLE
The race for "Most Audacious office space" is on, and out in the lead seems to be the Bloomsbury WaterFront. Designed by Kunle Adeyemi's NLE, for DreamSpaces Development, (the people looking to build the maybury towers on Banana Island) this high end office address along the Crescent that is Walter Carrington in Victoria Island, will boast lovely waterfront views, environmental efficiency, high tech access control and security systems as well as sustainable / renewable energy and building systems. (A whole lot of systems)
Of-course the striking structural facade of the 6 storey building would also serve as an attraction seeing as it is designed for optimum solar shading. The building itself, will be suspended off the ground to minimise its footprint on the site and offer much needed parking for 150 cars as well as lush landscaping. Skylights and roof gardens are a few of the other features of this concept design by NLE which looks like its set to win the aforementioned race.
